We were organized in 1987 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Georgia Bankers Association Insurance Trust (GBAIT). At Paragon, in addition to administering the GBAIT plan, which includes 160 banks, we also administer over 40 self-funded accounts and hundreds of cafeteria plans.
The establishment of The Georgia Bankers Association Insurance Trust (GBAIT) in 1965, by the Georgia Bankers Association, provided quality products and stellar services to all it’s members while offering cost-effective plans to 90% of the community banks in the state of Georgia.
The GBAIT program has grown and remained profitable due to the diligent management efforts of its full-time staff and the administrative strengths of its subsidiary administrator, Paragon Benefits, Inc.
